My New Favorite Nook

For a little while I was considering changing my eat-in kitchen into more cupboard space, because the eating nook I created was turning into a toss-your-stuff-here-when-you-enter-back-door sort of nook instead. I loved the vintage table (and Saarinen style chairs) I picked up before we moved in, but the chairs were wobbly at the base and tipped over every time my kids sat in them. Fortunately, the chairs were sold and I could bring home the present I got from my husband last Christmas:

 I know what you are thinking. What kind of  freak doesn't rip open Eames chairs the minute she gets them? Weirdos like me. It still bothers me that they are in before the kitchen is done but I still love them just the same!
