I love this month almost as much as Christmas, and for me that says alot! I have fond memories of carving pumpkins, decorating and making my own costume as a kid and I hope that my kids feel the same...every time around this year I start humming a tune that my mother used to sing to me this month:

Everything is black and gold, 

black and gold tonight!

Yellow pumpkins, yellow moons, 

yellow candlelight!

Jet black cats with golden eyes, 

shadows black as ink!

Fireflies dancing in the night, 

then it's Halloween!

And now, if you could indulge my pumpkin obsession, that would be great!

Do you decorate for Halloween? Those last little guys are definitely going to make an appearance at my house! I know Holly will have a blast making sparkley ones (she has an obsession at the moment), but I'm not sure if I'm ready to venture into that messy territory, we will see....
