A sweet invitation

One of my top priorities for Holly's party was a DIY invitation. Since Holly was only inviting a few little ladies, I could make them a little bit special...


 
My mom found this beautiful Origami paper at a yard sale a while back, which we simply folded into a delicate little envelope. In Holly's tea party inspiration post I mentioned these adorable play felt tea bags; I decided to use some scrap fabric and make some so the girls would have something to play with:

My sewing is pretty amateur, so I feel almost anyone could do this. I simply sewed up a shape of a tea bag, used some batting inside and used a piece of ribbon and a wooden button from the dollar store for the string...
